One of the pleasures of golf is that it is played so often in beautiful surroundings, which can calm anger, soothe frustrations and enhance joy. The Kluang Golf Club is such a place.
Lush greenery, gently rolling terrain and the panoramic mountain range add appeal and character to Kluang. It is believed that the club and the town got their name from a giant bat known as `Kluang’ in Malay. The mountain range visible from the club house resembles a giant bat.
The 2,625 metre 9-hole golf course, can be a mirage to the cavalier golfer, it is quite a deceptive golf course. The hilly terrain can be very taxing on the legs. The course forces you to play safe and defensive golf. It is simple, and yet it inflicts punishment on the overly adventurous.
