The main club house with facilities such as tennis courts, a swimming pool, a bar, a lounge, a games room and a meeting room is actually in the heart of the Kota Bahru town, while approximately 10 km away the Kelantan Golf Course is located in tranquil Pengkalan Cepa, a mere 2 km from Sultan Ismail Petra Airport.

The Royal Kelantan Club was actually the result of a merger between three clubs – the Kelantan Club, the Union Club and the Kelantan Country Club. It was first called the Union Club but was given its current name in 1983.

Besides golf, there is also the picturesque Sabak Beach nearby the golf course.
